Senior Client Service Director

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Client Service Director is responsible for directing, coordinating and leading the business from the point of sales opportunity through the profitable delivery of the project. This role will manage the graphic design staff to ensure all client and business goals are met, specifically those related to brand design intent and production feasibility and readiness. This position is responsible for driving and managing large critical projects when applicable.  They will develop, implement and monitor standard processes and procedures to ensure the creative team operates at industry best-in-class standards for a packaging design-through-production organization.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains close connection with business development and account planning.
  •  Manages and administers project management and graphic design team/staff.
  • Projects/programs planning and problem solving (either directing group or self-directing projects).
  • Plans, assigns and directs work flow including researching, recommending and implementing workflow tools and systems.
  • Reviews work by graphic designers (along with Art Directors) for design intent as well as production readiness
  • Leads and directs project management and team communication tools.
  • Performs the work of an Art Director, Graphic Designer or Project Manager as required to ensure deliverables and deadlines are met.
  • Leads and directs general Department Housekeeping.
  • Oversees IT/Hardware and software research.
  • Provides training recommendations.
  • Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of employee(s) to ensure goals or objectives are accomplished.  Mentors, coaches, trains and develops team.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
     

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing or related field
  • 10+ years progressive client services experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 8+ years in a leadership role
  • Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
  • High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).
  • Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients.
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work with and influence peers and management.
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
