Renowned for its commitment to creating uniquely memorable foodie experiences, Market District is Giant Eagle’s premium brand. Seeking to expand its line of coffee pods, the retailer turned to Equator for beautiful, eye-catching designs embedded in regional provenance.

We created whimsical watercolour illustrations and patterns to convey each coffee’s character and origins while maintaining a harmonious look and feel across the range. Each illustration tells a story, transporting coffee lovers to the rolling hills of Colombia, the misty mountains of Ethiopia, or the vibrant landscapes of Italy.

To maintain visual cohesion between the outer cartons and the foil lids, we used strong, corresponding colours and leveraged the central holding device on the pack front. The result: packaging as exceptional as the coffee within.
